Requirements for Student Visas

>Concept of the Student Visa:

General studies or further education in a full time program at an Officially Recognized University in Spain leading to the awarding of a degree or a certificate.
Activities pertaining to research or training, without prejudice regarding the special arrangements for researchers.
Participation in a Student Exchange Program in relation to a Secondary or High School Program at a recognized Educational or Scientific Center.
Non – labour practices in an agency, public or private entity.
Volunteer service within a program pursuing objectives of general interest.

The above mentioned Visa Fee are to be paid only in cash.
The visa fee in KES is as per current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice.
There is a service charge of KES 2,495 levied per application over and above the visa fees. (Service charge in shillings is Inclusive of VAT).

As per instruction received from Embassy of Spain, "Checklist" needs to be duly filled in by the Applicant/Authorized representative and needs to submit along with the Visa Application.

Please provide Two recent photograph (not more than 6 months old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. The photograph should be in colour and:

Two recent colour passports, size of photographs(45mm x 35mm) full face and taken against a white background so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
It must be clear and show the face focused.
Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.

Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at the Embassy of Spain. The Embassy has 15 days to process a normal visa application.

All applications must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the proposed date of travel.

Processing time will start excluding the date of submission of application at BLS International Services.

Resolution delays: The New Visa Code stipulates that the processing time is about 15 calendar days, and can be extended up to 45 days. No more than that.
